With the approval of the final claims from the Plymouth City Hall renovation project, the project is now complete.
City Attorney Sean Surrisi said project officials met with Plymouth Redevelopment Commission President Mike Miley, Commission Secretary Billy Ellinger and Clerk-Treasurer Jeanine Xaver about remaining issues with the construction and payments.
“I think we got to the point where we felt we were satisfied that we could reach a decent resolution,” said Surrisi. “Some of the last punchlist things have been completed since then – cleaning the walls in the stairwell, and the subcontractor for the heating and air conditioning was out and worked on the system. Now the mayor’s office and other spaces upstairs are working better and so it seems like we’re moving forward.”
The Plymouth Redevelopment Commission members approved the claims which totaled just under $55,000.
Once all the remaining paperwork is finalized, the bottom line will show about $3,000 under the original budget for the project.
