Plymouth Man Arrested for Allegedly Leaving the Scene of Accident

A Plymouth man was arrested Monday evening for reportedly leaving the scene of an accident.

Plymouth Police say the accident occurred at Oakhill Avenue and Muckshaw Road where one driver left the scene.  The vehicle was located a short time later at Muckshaw and 12th Roads.  The driver was identified as 54-year-old Harry Scott Sturgeon Jr. and an investigation found that he was allegedly under the influence of alcohol.

After he submitted a sample for a chemical test and was medically cleared by hospital officials, Sturgeon Jr. was booked into the Marshall County Jail on preliminary charges of operating while intoxicated, leaving the scene of an accident and disorderly conduct.

Suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
