The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety members discussed parking restrictions on Novelty Street.
There is truck traffic in that area and in order to allow more space for trucks to back into the loading docks at the factory at that location, owner Greg Frushour requested no parking along Novelty Street from Plum to the alley.
Letters were sent to property owners and residents in that area. If there were any concerns, they could have attended Monday night’s meeting, but Street Superintendent Jim Marquardt said he didn’t receive any comments and there were no public comments given during the meeting.
The board members approved a motion to restrict parking on the south side of Novelty from Plum Street to the alley.
