Northern Indiana Food Bank to Benefit from ‘Empty Bowls Soup Supper’ Fundraiser

The work of local artists will be featured at a unique fundraising experience that will take place at The Center at Donaldson next Saturday.

The “Empty Bowls Soup Supper” will run from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Saturday, March 16th.

According to event organizers, in exchange for a cash donation, community members can select a hand-crafted clay bowl and enjoy a meal of bread and soup.

Event goers are encouraged to keep the bowl as a reminder of all the empty bowls in our area and around the world.

A minimum donation of $15 is required to participate. All proceeds raised during the event will be donated to the Food Bank of Northern Indiana. Every dollar can help supply up to 9 meals to Hoosiers suffering from food insecurity.

The Center at Donaldson is located at 9601 Union Road in Plymouth, just 2 miles south of US 30. The event will be held at Cana Hall in the Motherhouse.
