Agreements will be drawn up between the City of Plymouth and residents on Kingston Road where new light poles will be installed along the Highland Court area.
Plymouth Street Superintendent Jim Marquardt told the Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety members that he discussed the current condition of the light poles with the six residents in the area that would be affected and that the city was interested in updating the poles. The poles are currently leaning and deteriorating.
They will be replaced with the green light poles to match others in the city. The landscaping would be repaired after everything is installed.
The project would be done in-house and would cost under $1,000. The project could get started in a short amount of time.
The board members agreed with moving forward with the project. They will wait until the agreements are signed before formally approving activity.
