The Marshall County Election Board members conducted a public test of voting machines Tuesday morning.
One machine each from the Bourbon Vote Center, West Vote Center in Plymouth, and Bremen North Vote Center were randomly selected where the election board members cast a test vote for each candidate on the ballot to make sure the machines are properly programmed for the May Municipal Primary Election. The voting was done in test mode only.
Test votes were also conducted on the paper ballots that are available to in-office early voters, mail-in ballots to absentee voters, and the voters who utilize the Travel Board.
There were no issues recorded on Tuesday morning.
Another public test will be conducted on a date to be determined for the November Municipal General Election. The public is welcome to view the procedure when the testing time is set.
