Marshall County Election Board Approves Resolution for Absentee Voting Hours

The Marshall County Election Board members formally approved absentee voting hours and a resolution that officially sets the days and hours of early voting into the Vote Center plan.

The Marshall County Clerk’s Office will be open for the first day of absentee voting on Tuesday, April 9.  From there, absentee voting will be available Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the clerk’s office.  The office will be closed on Friday, April 19 for Good Friday.

Satellite voting locations for early voting will be at the Bremen Town Hall and the Culver Town Hall on Saturday, April 27 and Saturday, May 4 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Early voting by travel board will begin Thursday, April 18 and on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Applications to vote by mail may be submitted in mid-March.

The last day to vote absentee in the Marshall County Clerk’s office or by travel board is Monday, May 6 from 8 a.m. to noon.

All of that information was formally adopted in the plan.
