The winner of three Grammy awards is expected to appear at the next Bremen Town Council meeting.
Bremen graduate Salvador Perez Lopez won awards for Best Improvised Jazz Solo, Best Arrangement of Instrumental or A Capella, and Best Large Jazz Ensemble album. He was a part of a project put together by Jazz Artist John Draversa and played with professional musicians in the band.
Salvador Perez Lopez is currently a student at Indiana University studying for a master’s degree in Music Performance.
A draft resolution to honor his accomplishments will be offered during the Monday, March 11 meeting. The meeting will begin at 4:30 p.m. at the Bremen Town Hall at 111 S. Center Street.
