The long-awaited Candy Lane Storm Sewer project in Plymouth is underway.
Utility Superintendent Donnie Davidson told the Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety Monday night that equipment is moving into the area. The barricades are up to prohibit thru-traffic and they’re planning on moving pavement today.
Davidson said a contractor is looking to move quickly with this project to keep people working so things should go smoothly.
The storm water project is expected to alleviate flooding in the area and has been discussed for several years. Selge Construction is doing the work at that location.
