Bremen School Board Declares Over 360 First Generation iPad Minis as Surplus

More than 360 pieces of technology were declared surplus during the Bremen School Board meeting Wednesday night.

Superintendent Dr. Jim White said there is some outdate technology that they’re looking to sell to a re-sale company.

He explained, “Approximately 365 iPad minis were declared surplus, along with 8 older Apple servers. These are the first generation iPad minis so they’ve pretty much hit end of life as far as support and anything from Apple.

Dr. White said the funds gathered from the sale of these items will go into buying some new technology. He noted that school officials have not come to any final decisions about what to buy just yet.
