A bicyclist was injured Wednesday night after reportedly coming in contact with a vehicle in the area of Western Avenue and the U.S. 30 overpass.
Plymouth Police Department officers say the bicyclist, identified as Plymouth resident 25-year-old Jordan Ringer, was traveling south on Western Avenue when it collided with a vehicle driven by 19-year-old Samuel Jasso of Plymouth. Jasso was traveling north in the northbound lane at the time of the accident.
Ringer was transported by Plymouth EMS to Memorial Hospital in South Bend with serious injuries.
The accident remains under investigation with the Plymouth Police Department.
