Argos officials were recently alerted of some repair work will be done on Maple Street once the weather improves.
Town Superintendent Jamie Lindstrom reminded council members last week that Maple Street was sealed last year.
He noted there seem to be some sections that have started to peel off and explained that he was able to get in touch with the company who did the work. They told him they’ll be returning to repair the roadway when temperatures will allow for it.
Superintendent Lindstrom also informed members that he’s working on finishing up the contracts for this year’s paving projects. He added that once the documents are finalized, he’ll hold meetings with project officials in order to get some dates arranged so schedules can be set up.
As previously reported, when members met for their first meeting of the month, they voted to award the Town’s two major Community Crossings’ projects, the Westview Court and Woodland Trail project and the Colonial Estates subdivision project to E&B Paving and Walsh & Kelly, respectively.
