Possible Change to Virtual Learning Policies Discussed by Bremen School Officials

Bremen Public School officials recently covered a potential change to the way students and staff utilize electronic learning.

School Superintendent Dr. Jim White elaborated on what school board members discussed when they met in a special work session last Saturday.

Dr. White explained, “The board did have a conversation about e-learning days. We currently do virtual snow days but we don’t do them on demand, we have virtual learning days built into the calendar and so now there seems to be a lot of interest locally among parents and staff about trying to move in the direction of virtual snow days.”

Dr. White said they’re looking for community feedback about the possible switch

He noted, “If parents have any thoughts or suggestions, they can sure feel free to contact me. I’d love to hear their thoughts.”

To weigh in on the matter, parents can contact the Bremen Public School Administration Office by calling 574-546-3929.
