A home in Plymouth is slated for demolition.
Plymouth Building Commissioner Keith Hammonds asked the Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety to affirm a demolition order at 881 Broadway at the corner of Broadway and Harrison.
Hammonds said the stakeholders were notified and could argue the point, but they were not present during Monday night’s meeting.
He informed the board that one stakeholder wanted to remodel the home, but could not acquire the last piece of property to complete the work.
The stakeholder has 60 days to demolish or take other action. If no action is taken, then it will go to Circuit Court for affirmation and then the city can demolish the structure.
The board members approved the affirmation of the demolition order as presented.
