The superintendents of all town departments were notified of an upcoming hazmat training course.
Bremen Fire Chief Matt Neher told the Bremen Town Council members last week that officials from the University of Finlay in Ohio will be conducting the training for the fire department and other employees. He said they are going to bring in an explosion trailer for train cars.
The event is scheduled for Saturday, March 16 at the Bowen Auditorium. Neher noted that the training is free for town officials.
