The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department responded to several incidents on Saturday pertaining to intoxicated individuals.
At about 3 a.m., officers were called to a rollover accident at Olive and Dixon Lake Trail where 27-year-old Sara Clinton of Plymouth was arrested for being intoxicated at almost three times over the legal limit.
About a half hour later, Trevor Roth of Plymouth was arrested after he was allegedly highly intoxicated and had battered a woman at the residence. The woman was transported to the hospital for medical evaluation. Roth faces preliminary charges of domestic battery, battery resulting in moderate bodily injury, and battery resulting in bodily injury.
Bremen resident, 46-year-old Victor Robert Mills, was arrested Saturday afternoon after he was reportedly found to have taken a vehicle without the owner’s permission while under the influence of alcohol. Mills was arrested on a preliminary charge of a Level 5 Felony of operating a vehicle as a habitual traffic violator with his driver’s license suspended for life, and a misdemeanor charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
Shortly before 5 p.m. on Saturday, police say a traffic stop on Lincoln Highway east of Kingston Road in Plymouth found the driver, 63-year-old Mark Casbon, of Plymouth, driving under the influence of alcohol. A certified test at the hospital determined Casbon’s BAC to be .306, according to the police report. He faces a preliminary charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
At around 11 p.m. on Saturday, the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department was notified that a vehicle slid off the road on Queen Road in the area of 7th Road. An investigation found that the vehicle driven by 36-year-old Lucia Madison, of Plymouth, was reportedly traveling southbound and crossed over the northbound lane and into a field. Police say a certified test showed that she was more than two times over the legal limit. She was arrested on a preliminary charge of operating a vehicle with a BAC of .15 or more.
