A fundraising event for the John Glenn Education Foundation is set for Saturday, Feb. 23.
John Glenn School Corporation Superintendent Richard Reese announced Tuesday night that the John Glenn Education Foundation Gala event will feature a silent auction and other events throughout the evening at the Swan Lake Resort in Plymouth. The festivities begin at 7 p.m. that night.
All money raised will go toward the John Glenn Education Foundation. That money will be awarded in the form of grants to help fund enhanced training, teaching techniques or new styles of learning. The Teacher Grants Committee reviews all grant applications and the grants will be awarded as funds allow. The idea is to bridge the gap between need and funding.
Tickets are $40 per person or $75 a couple. To purchase a ticket, call the John Glenn Administration Building at 574-586-3129.
