Plymouth Board of Works to Award Bid for Spring Street and Sidewalk Projects Tonight

The Plymouth Board of Works is expected to award a bid for the spring street and sidewalk projects tonight. That will include work on portions of Randolph Drive, Stanley Drive, Walnut Street, Madison Street, Kingston Road, Lemler Lane, and Chester Street. The five bids opened earlier this month ranged from just under $636,000 to more than $858,000.

Meanwhile, bids for the Candy Lane Storm Sewer Improvement Project and quotes for a truck for the street department will be opened tonight. Board members will also consider an open burn request from Pioneer Seed and discuss a contract for cleaning services for the Mayor’s Office.

Tonight’s Plymouth Board of Works meeting will take place at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers on the second floor of the Plymouth City Building, followed by the city council meeting at 6:30.

Council members are expected to discuss a Rees Theater OCRA grant and review the portion of the employee handbook pertaining to holiday pay. The city’s transportation agreement will be discussed, and a resolution approving the use of surplus bond proceeds will be up for council approval.
