When Marshall County Commissioners met for their final meeting of 2018 on Monday, Commissioner Mike Delp briefly mentioned a petition that was submitted on behalf of the residents of Lake of the Woods.
Delp said that the petition contained a request for a road in the Lake of the Woods to be paved. He noted that there were a total of 67 signatures and 59 of them were found to be valid.
He added that no definitive decision about the matter had been reached at that time. The request will likely be revisited when the commissioners reconvene later this month.
