The John Glenn School Board members approved the purchase of new cafeteria equipment for the Walkerton Elementary School and the John Glenn High School.
Both lunch rooms will be equipped with new cafeteria tables and chairs. Some will be rectangle in length with benches while cafeteria bar tables will be purchased with stools along with other folding tables and chairs.
The equipment will be purchased through the vendor A+ Office Furniture at a cost of $56,588.22. The equipment is expected to be delivered during the holiday break and ready for use when school resumes on Monday, Jan. 7.
