Five people were killed in a shooting incident at a Sebring, Florida, bank Wednesday afternoon and the suspect is a former Marshall County resident.
According to an article published by our reporting partners at The Pilot News, 21-year-old Zephen Xaver is accused of entering the SunTrust Bank and later calling police to say that he had fired shots inside the bank. Police reportedly found that five people died in the incident.
Xaver allegedly refused to surrender to police when initial negotiations took place. A SWAT team continued negotiations upon entering the building. Xaver eventually surrendered, according to the report.
Xaver was a former student at Plymouth High School.
