There are a few items that need to be finished with the Plymouth City Building project.
The City Building underwent a major overhaul last year with an update in heating and cooling units, a new elevator and stairwell, and the remodeling and repositioning of offices within the building.
City Attorney Sean Surrisi said a few follow-up items were brought up which will be discussed with the architect this week. He will put a list together to distribute to the Plymouth Redevelopment Commission members and Clerk-Treasurer Jeanine Xaver before the meeting.
The Plymouth Redevelopment Commission members voted to table two invoices that pertain to payment of services at the Plymouth City Building. A payment to RQAW was held to iron out information concerning the redesign of the stairwell. Some engineering changes needed to be made that the RDC doesn’t believe the city should pay for as it was a design flaw. An invoice from Michiana Contracting will also need further explanation before it is paid. The matter will be discussed again during the Redevelopment Commission’s next meeting in February.
