The Aquatics Center and Early Childhood Learning Center construction projects in Plymouth are on schedule.
Marshall County Economic Development Corporation President and CEO Jerry Chavez told the Plymouth Redevelopment Commission members Tuesday that there are three outer walls up on the Aquatics Center with the fourth wall to be installed once the truss for the mezzanine is in place. The bricks will then be installed on the southern wall. Crews will then dig out the space for the pool.
The Early Childhood Learning Center has doors, a roof, outer walls, windows in place. The majority of the sheet rock is hung inside and some painting is being done. Mechanicals are in and some electrical aspects have begun. Some of the split rock will be ready to be placed on the outer buildings.
The work on the Aquatics Center is about 30 percent complete while the Early Childhood Learning Center project is about 40 percent complete. Both structures are located on Miller Drive by the Lifeplex in Plymouth.
