Bourbon Resident Appears Before Town Council to Discuss Junk Vehicle Ticket

A Bourbon resident attended last Tuesday night’s town council meeting to discuss a ticket he received.

According to notes provided by Clerk-Treasurer Kim Berger, homeowner David Berry came in to discuss a junk vehicle ticket that was issued to him. Berger noted that he wasn’t asking the council to dismiss the ticket but he claimed there were a number of other junk vehicles in the area that authorities should address as well.

Berry presented the council with a list of addresses where there are apparently other junk vehicles. Clerk-Treasurer Berger said that Police Chief Bill Martin took the list and noted that he would have his department assess the addresses to determine if there are any junk vehicle violations on the properties.
