The installation of the walking bridge as part of the second phase of the Greenways Trail will occur today in Plymouth.
According to a project representative, the contractor plans to move the bridge from River Street at 9 a.m. where it is expected to cross Garro Street. Commuters are asked to refrain from traveling in this area until early this afternoon.
Flaggers will direct traffic. Drivers can expect delays or restrictions during the day Wednesday. Once the bridge gets safely across to its destination there should not be any restrictions on Garro Street.
