The two candidates vying for the Argos EMS Director position will be meeting with town officials in a public workshop on Wednesday to go over their credentials. Clerk-Treasurer Lisa Mullaney said the position was covered at the last town council meeting but this will be more of an in-depth interview process.
The candidates being considered are EMS Assistant Director Pete Devos and Sara McCullam, who also serves on the department.
Current EMS Director Richie Miller, who intends to resign on December 31st, has asked the two individuals to gather some information to share with the council this week.
Mullaney explained, “He has asked the two candidates that gave a letter of interest to complete a resume of what their qualifications are and the council will go over it on December 5th at 6:30 p.m.”
Mullaney said the Town officials expect to make a decision about the new director before the end of the year.
