Students in the Triton FFA provided school board members with a presentation last week about their trip to the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis.
According to Superintendent Jeremy Riffle, the FFA students joined 60,000 other attendees this year and they had the chance to see a few famous faces while they attended the multi-day event in October.
Riffle noted, “They were able to see Garth Brook in action and also President Trump spoke at their conference so they were pretty excited about that.”
Riffle said that another element of the convention was a service project where Triton’s FFA members had the opportunity to help out with one of Indiana’s largest food pantries. He added that there were multiple breakout sessions they attended and the students reported learning a great deal.
