South Bend Man Arrested, After Allegedly Trying to Steal Three Vacuums from Plymouth Walmart

A South Bend man was arrested for theft, after he reportedly ran out of the Plymouth Walmart with three vacuum cleaners. Store employees reported the theft around 1:30 Monday afternoon.

When Plymouth Police arrived, the responding officer reportedly found Marcus Lorenzo Jones, 34, behind the store, trying to retrieve the unpaid merchandise that he left behind a storage container. He was taken to the Marshall County Jail.

Then the following morning, Plymouth Police say they made another theft arrest at the store, when Kaila Tapia of Plymouth was arrested following a 911 call.
