New entrepreneurs are invited to a workshop next week to learn more about small business development.
The event is sponsored by the Marshall County Economic Development Corporation where President and CEO Jerry Chavez welcomes the next generation of entrepreneurs and small business owners to the SCORE workshop.
“For those that are interested, there’s still time to sign up,” explained Chavez. “We have a handful of people that will show up next Wednesday at 9 o’clock. For those who still want to be included in that they can give Pam Davis a call at my office at 574-935-8499.”
Several retired business owners will be in attendance from the South Bend-based mentoring program for small business owners. A local chapter is being pursued to continue these types of services in Marshall County.
The event is Wednesday, Nov. 7 at 9 a.m. at the MCEDC office at 2864 Miller Drive in Plymouth. Pre-registration is required.
