Eight John Glenn High School seniors will be graduating early.
The school board members last week approved the early graduation requests submitted by Meg Bronke, Destiny Cartwright, Summer Burgh, Hope DeHoff, Hannah Kuchel, Shane Carter, Julia Kaser, and Savannah Rudynski.
All students have Core-40 diplomas. They told the board of their future plans that include post-secondary education.
They can participate in the prom if they so wish and they may also walk with their fellow graduates in the spring graduation ceremony.
The school board typically approves early graduation if the students meet all graduation requirements and they appear before the board to be officially recognized.
