Residents and business owners in the Town of Argos are encouraged to show off their holiday spirit during this year’s Christmas Light Contest.
Clerk-Treasurer Lisa Mullaney mentioned that residences and businesses will be judged separately but the top three winners will receive the same cash prizes. The third place prize is $50, the second place winners will get $100 and the first place prize is $200.
Mullaney said there is no need to register for the contest; just be sure to have your decorations up and lit by the time judging begins.
She explained, “We will have an impartial judge that will drive around town between December the 10th and December the 17th.”
Mullaney noted that the judge will share their findings and announce the winners during the Town Council’s meeting on Wednesday, December 19th.
