Argos Public Library to Host Community Tree Lighting Ceremony Tonight

The Town of Argos will be kicking off the Christmas season tonight with a tree lighting ceremony at the Argos Public Library.

The event will run from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. Ribbons to tie on the tree will be provided, hot chocolate will be served and there will be some spirited caroling as well.

The annual event is sponsored by the library as well as the Friends of the Argos Public Library group.

After the ceremony wraps up, residents are encouraged to cruise downtown to check out the“12 Days of Christmas” themed decorations that have been placed on the light poles by town officials.

The Argos Public Library is located at 142 North Michigan Street. If you have any questions about tonight’s event call 574-892-5818.
