Washington D.C. Trip Approved by Argos School Board

When the Argos School Board members met last week, they provided final approval on a field trip request that they tentatively approved in September.

Last month, school board members tentatively approved a Washington D.C. Trip under the condition that there would be enough students interested and chaperones available. Superintendent Ned Speicher said when members met this month they discovered there was enough interest to warrant the trip.

Speicher said, “We had 25 8th graders and 5 chaperones wanting to go which was sufficient numbers so the board approved a trip for April of 2019.”

Speicher said the trip is offered every year for interested 8th-grade students studying U.S. History.
