Walkerton Woman Arrested after Accident

A Walkerton woman was arrested late Friday night after a single-vehicle accident.

Marshall County police say 37-year-old Amy Boake was intoxicated at the time she hit a tree while traveling in the 3000 block of West County Line Road. Officers reportedly found her to be in possession of marijuana and LSD.

Boake was transported to the Plymouth hospital where a certified blood draw determined she was two times the legal limit of alcohol, according to the report.

Following the blood draw, Boake was taken to the Marshall County Jail. She faces preliminary charges of operating a vehicle with a BAC of .15 or more, operating a vehicle while intoxicated endangering, possession of cocaine or narcotic drug, and possession of marijuana.
