Argos School Board members declared the corporation’s ongoing construction project substantially complete when they met Monday night.
Superintendent Ned Speicher said the crews from Millwood Construction were given 30 days to complete the final punch list items to ensure all the work is done to the specifications laid out by school officials. Some of the remaining work includes replacing ceiling tiles as needed, fixing a leaky faucet and touching up areas that were painted.
Speicher said the final completion of the project is set for Wednesday, November 7th. He said once officials approve that the work is done, the retainage money can be released and the construction company will receive their final payment.
