A Plymouth man is in the Marshall County Jail on allegations of battering a one-year-old child.
According to the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department, officers arrived at a home on Michigan Road after receiving information about the incident around 5 p.m. on Tuesday.
Police say that 50-year-old Jesus Vasquez battered the child with a fly swatter.
Vasquez was booked on a preliminary charge of battery of a victim less than 14 years of age, a Level 6 Felony.
