Argos Town Council members discussed an intergovernmental agreement related to the Marshall County Crossroads Stellar Communities Initiative when they met last Wednesday.
As a reminder, prior to Wednesday, November 7th, all the entities involved with Marshall County Crossroads must approve an agreement that designates two municipality representatives to sit on the board that will oversee the administrative functions of the regional stellar initiative.
According to draft minutes provided by Clerk-Treasurer Lisa Mullaney, the board will consist of 14 members and it will be made up of various Clerk-Treasurers and Council Presidents or their designees.
Councilwoman Suzanne Umbaugh, who has played an integral role in the stellar efforts in Argos, was not present at last week’s meeting. After some discussion, members chose to refrain from making any decisions about the agreement until she returns and they can discuss it with her.
