Marshall County Surveyor Craig Cultice and his staff will be getting high-visibility safety jackets for use in the winter thanks to an IPEP Health and Workers Compensation Grant.
Commissioner Mike Delp made the announcement on Monday that the county is the recipient of the grant in the amount of $296.85. The surveyor’s office will provide the 20 percent match for the grant.
Delp said previously that the workers will be more visible when the surveyors are out in traffic. They are more of a heavy duty material when outside in colder temperatures.
