Bowen Center Partners with Bremen Public Schools

The Bowen Center and Bremen Public Schools will both benefit from a partnership that was discussed during last week’s school board meeting.

There are apparently a few individuals that work for the Bowen Center who are looking to complete the necessary steps required to receive their licenses. In order to do so, they need to have some hands-on experience.

Bremen Superintendent Dr. Jim White said that in exchange for allowing the Bowen Center employees to complete their internships in the school system, their services will be provided free of charge.

He added that they’ll be providing mental health assistance to the students. White indicated that school officials are excited for this opportunity to simultaneously provide assistance to the students at no cost the school while also helping these counselors get the experience they need.
