Triton School Board Attends to Administrative Matters

The Triton School Board handled some administrative matters when members met on Monday.

Superintendent Jeremy Riffle said that members approved a change in the school corporation’s financial institution when they met this week. Members voted unanimously to switch from First Merchants Bank to 1st Source Bank.

Members also gave the “go-ahead” to publish the notice of the public hearing to go over the bus replacement and capital projects plans. Riffle said the hearing will be held during their next board meeting on Monday, September 10th.

A quote from the Contract Paper Group (CPG) was also considered. Members approved the quote of $6,877.50 from CPG. Superintendent Riffle noted that price covers the cost for the copy paper supply for both schools for the remainder of the school year.
