Friday was the deadline to file in the Marshall County Clerk’s Office for open school board seats and two seats on the Lake of the Woods Sewer District.
This is the first election in which Argos School Board candidates will be chosen by an election. The candidates were appointed up until this November General Election. Jennifer Porter filed for the District 1 Town Walnut Township seat while the District 2 At-Large candidates are Ed Barcus and Angela R. Smith, and Chris O’Dell filed for the District 3 At-Large seat.
For the Bremen School Board District 1 seat, Trevor Mikel and Todd Huff filed while Todd Stuckman filed for the District 2 Outside of Town seat.
The Culver Community School Board At-Large B seat candidate is Ryan Sieber, Julie Ritzler filed for the District 3 seat and Jack Jones filed for the District 4 seat.
Daniel Drotar is the Lincoln Township candidate for the John Glenn School Board while William S. Groves is the candidate for Liberty Township and Dennis Holland is the candidate for Polk Township.
The Plymouth Community School Board District 1 Center Township candidate is Melissa Christiansen while Michael Thomas Clary, Jennifer F. Friberg and Larry L. Pinkerton filed for the District 3 City seat.
Teresa Barnhart filed for the District 1 seat on the Triton School Board. Andrew L. Cook and Steven D. Stichter filed for Triton School Board in District 2 and Kenneth Miller is the candidate for District 4.
No candidate filed for the Union-North United School Board seat for North Township. George Moffett and Karman Eash are the candidates for the Union Township seat.
Only one candidate filed for the two available seats on the Lake of the Woods Sewer District. Stephen Pittman is the lone candidate on the ballot.
The information will be added to the General Election ballots to be approved by the election board members.
