A suspect in a pursuit is still at large.
Plymouth police say an officer attempted to stop a motorcycle at Bayless and Alexander Streets on Tuesday, Aug. 7 shortly after 5 p.m. when the driver fled. A pursuit began that involved officers from the Plymouth Police Department and the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department.
The motorcycle experienced a mechanical failure in the area of 8A Road and Iris Road and it was then when the driver abandoned the motorcycle and ran into a corn field, according to the report. K9 units assisted in searching for the suspect, but they were unable to locate the driver.
The case remains under investigation.
