The Plymouth Community School Corporation plans to update its policies on anti-harassment, nondiscrimination, and the employment of substitute teachers, among others.
Superintendent Andy Hartley presented a list of several proposed policy revisions to the school board last week. “It pertains to updating our compliance officers to include [Assistant Superintendent] Mrs. [Jill] VanDriessche and some of our anti-harassment and anti-discrimination policies,” Hartley explained. “It also takes those policies and makes some other changes that reflect adjustments in either legal standards or statutes that are recommended by NEOLA, who is our policy consultant.”
The policy updates will be up for final approval during the Plymouth School Board’s September meeting.
