Plymouth Man Dies in Motorcycle Crash

A Plymouth man is dead, following a Saturday evening motorcycle crash. Marshall County Police say it happened just after 6:00 p.m. on Maple Road, south of 4A Road.

Officers believe Harry (Tom) Parker Jr., 38, was riding his 2016 Suzuki motorcycle south on Maple Road, when he lost control of the motorcycle while crossing a small bridge. Police say Parker was thrown from the motorcycle. He was not wearing a helmet.

Parker was pronounced dead at the scene. Speed, drugs, and alcohol do not appear to be factors in the crash, according to police.

LaPaz Fire and EMS and the Marshall County Coroner’s Office assisted the Sheriff’s Department.
