Candidates for the Lake of the Woods Sewer District and school board candidates have until Friday, Aug. 24 at noon to file for the positions on the November General Election ballot.
Two seats are available for the Lake of the Woods Sewer District and no candidates have filed for those seats. If no candidates file by Friday, the current members will automatically serve another term.
As of Tuesday, Aug. 21, other school board seats that need candidates include the Bremen School Board District 2, Culver Community School Board At-Large B, John Glenn School Board Liberty Township, John Glenn School Board Polk Township, and Union-North United School Board Union Township.
Candidates may file in the Marshall County Clerk’s Office.
