The John Glenn School Board will meet tonight where they will approve transfer student requests. At a previous meeting, it was noted that over 400 students were expected to transfer into the John Glenn School Corporation this upcoming school year.
The board members will consider approving the 2018-2019 Athletic Handbooks for the Elementary and Middle Schools. A library appointment will be made and a contract will be discussed with The Crossing. Superintendent Richard Reese will also have an update for the board. He may talk about what is happening with discussions surrounding the Greene Township School and its closing.
The first day of school for teachers is Monday, Aug. 13 while the first day for students is Tuesday, Aug. 14.
The John Glenn School Board will meet at 7 p.m. in the John Glenn Administration Building on the school’s campus in Walkerton.
