A Republican Town Convention held Wednesday in Bourbon determined the sole candidate to move onto the Bourbon Town Council seat up for election in the November General Election.
According to the Marshall County Clerk’s Office, Les McFarland will be the Republican candidate in the open Bourbon Town Council seat. He is the incumbent. He gathered 94 votes while his opponent, Jordan Fuller, received 87 votes.
There are no Democratic candidates on the ballot for this position.
