The City of Plymouth and the Marshall County Economic Development Corporation are working to fill the vacant Del Monte and Bay Valley Foods factories.
The companies announced late last year that operations would cease their Plymouth operations. Del Monte closed their doors in February while Bay Valley Foods closed at the end of the year in 2017.
Marshall County Economic Development Corporation President and CEO Jerry Chavez said the facilities are “well positioned for existing or expanding businesses to consider.” There are companies that have expressed interest in these facilities, but no information can be disclosed at this time. An announcement will be made when plans are developed to fill the large voids in the Plymouth community.
