Time is running out to register your four-year-old child in the On My Way Pre-K program in Marshall County.
This program provides high-quality pre-kindergarten education at no charge, thanks to the hard work of those associated with the United Way of Marshall County. Those involved worked to apply to be part of the statewide effort for low-income children to receive this important opportunity.
There are eligibility requirements. The family must have an income below 127 percent of the federal poverty level and the child entering the program must be the age of four on or before Aug. 1, 2018 to be entered into this year’s schooling. Parents in the household must be working, going to school or attending job training.
Electronic applications are available at www.onmywayprek.org. Applications may also be printed from that site.
There are five sites that offer On My Way Pre-K instruction: Giggles and Scribbles Daycare in Bourbon, Max’s Playhouse in Culver, Carey’s Child Care in Plymouth, Country Corner Daycare/Preschool in Plymouth, and Small Wonders Daycare/Preschool in Plymouth.
