Plymouth School Board Approves Food Bids, Teacher Evaluation Plan for 2018-2019

The Plymouth School Board continues preparing for the 2018-2019 school year. Last week, board members ratified the selection of food service vendors. Gordon Food Service will serve as the major food distributor. Dairy products will come from Dean Foods, while bakery goods will be provided by Aunt Millie’s Bakery.

The school corporation purchases the food through the Northern Indiana Educational Services Center. However, the organization is now asking the local school boards to sign off on the selections, as well.

The Plymouth School Board also approved the 2018-2019 teacher evaluation plan, as well as an agreement to provide educational services to patients at the Michiana Behavioral Health Center. Superintendent Andy Hartley said those two documents were unchanged from last year.
